Mechanic Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team to assemble maintain and repair machinery and vehicles. As a Mechanic you will ensure the functionality safety and reliability of machines engines and mechanical systems. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail manual dexterity and experience with a wide range of machines and tools following strict safety protocols.
Hours: Multiple shifts available
Schedule: Monday Friday
Location: 448 Spring Hammock Ct. Longwood FL 32750
Pay Range: Starting at $25.00/hour *based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build machines or mechanical components according to specifications.
- Inspect and troubleshoot machines engines and transmissions to identify and diagnose issues.
- Run diagnostic tests and maintain detailed logs of all work performed.
- Conduct repairs with an emphasis on maximizing functionality and reliability.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery equipment and systems.
- Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components and replenish necessary fluids.
- Advise on correct maintenance practices and preventative measures to machine users.
- Undertake additional duties as required such as repairs of hydraulic systems painting vehicles etc.
- Experience with heavy equipment is a plus.
Requirements & Skills
- 5 years of proven experience as a Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of machinery hydraulic electrical and other mechanical systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools shop tools and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers).
- Ability to follow established procedures read instruction manuals and wiring schematics.
- Must have basic hand tools for daily use.
- Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
- Strong physical stamina and good overall fitness.
- Positive attitude and reliable attendance.
- High school diploma preferred; certification from a vocational school or apprenticeship is a plus.
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
