Job Description
Position: Truck and Trailer Diesel Mechanic
Work Location: Phoenix AZ 85027
Payrate: $25 to $29/hr on DOE
Duration: 3 Months role with high chances of extension/conversion
Shift: 1st shift- but will require some evening and weekend work.
Dress Code: Steel toe boots jeans T-shirt
Job Description:
- The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in a Diesel Mechanic role.
The client is looking for an experienced Truck and Trailer Mechanics to repair Waste Moving Equipment which includes:
- Semi Tractors
- Aluminum Live Floor Trailers
- Aluminum Tipper Trailers
- 80% of the work will be in the shop and on-the-road calls in a waste industry atmosphere.
- This position will require some evening and weekend work.
- Diesel Engine part fabrication and welding experience a plus.
Other Details:
- Certifications in tires welding and brakes are a plus.
- Bringing your own tools is also a plus.
