The Position

Medical Science Partner

Duration: 12month contract

Primary location: Field position with a preference for candidates based in Mississauga or Western Canada (Alberta and British Columbia).

As a Medical Science Partner you will play a meaningful role in demonstrating your scientific expertise to integrate these solutions into the healthcare system for both present and future needs.

• You are engaging with stakeholders with a focus on scientific/medical exchange on the latest scientific advancements acting as a trusted partner

• You are collecting analyzing sharing and integrating insights into the integrated strategy

• You are building the external scientific communication strategy as part of an integrated omnichannel approach and executing with impact

• You are contributing to the regional access strategy

• You are building and maintaining deep knowledge of product disease and therapeutic (PDK) knowledge of Roche assets and the competitive landscape

• You are involved and leadingevidence generation projects

• You are collaborating cross functionally collaboration with a focus on field engagement that leverages the broader network

• You may contribute to early pipeline strategic planning at both a local and global level

• You may be accountable for the outcomes and measures in relation to the medical communication strategies as part of an overall omnichannel approach

• You ensure the highest ethical scientific and quality standards patients safety and safeguarding Roches reputation

Who you are

• University Degree in a Science Based Program (PhD MSc MD PharmD Biomedical allied Health) and at least 35 years of relevant experience in life sciences or health care system sector

• You have a good understanding of the healthcare system environment

• You have a robust understanding of pharmaceutical drug development medical affairs strategies and relevant processes (eg. GCP PV Industry Codes & Regulations)

• You have the ability to travel depending on the business need. May vary from 15 to 30. (Overnight travel frequent)
