Job Description
Our client in the Steel Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Production Foreman to join them in Germiston Gauteng. The successful candidate will have experience working in a unionised environment and managing 30 staff. There are shifts. Excellent quality management is required for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
Geographical area: Germiston Gauteng
Salary range: R 30000.00 R 40000.00 Basic salary benefits
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
- Schedule and supervise production workers
- Inspect finished product
- Maintain production records
- Optimize production processes
- Conduct safety briefings
- Train new staff and provide continuous training and support
- Labor relations
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- Matric
- Diploma in Production management / mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 35 years experience in Production management
- Willing and able to work shifts
