Job Description

We are seeking wastewater professionals at various levels to join our growing team! This is an excellent opportunity to learn grow and become part of a flourishing group of esteemed professionals. At H2M our wastewater engineers work on projects spanning the full life cycle. This covers all phases such as planning feasibility studies design construction and maintenance on a multitude of wastewater design projects. We understand that no two projects are the same and can pose unique challenges in their design construction operation and maintenance. Using cuttingedge solutions detailed construction drawings and comprehensive internal quality control practices H2M delivers design excellence on time and on budget.

In this role you will independently complete complex development of engineering design preparation of specifications compile technical reports and other activities requiring the knowledge of standard engineering principles and techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads projects utilizing technical knowledge and experience to develop the project teams overall capabilities.
  • Manages projects from planning to design and construction of wastewater conveyance systems including pipelines pump stations storage and endofpipe treatment facilities.
  • Leads development of construction documents/specifications and handling engineering services during construction.
  • Meets established budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment; for project/task scope schedule and budget.
  • Coordinates of projects with other disciplines.
  • Develops medium to large planning and design projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepares complete construction packages (including all deliverables) for the engineering procurement and construction of WW conveyance systems for clients.
  • Creates and manages cost estimates and project schedules and will be responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.
  • Performs detailed engineering calculations & analysis and utilizes design software to solve complex issues.
  • Supervises and supports the work of others and mentors junior level engineer & design/drafting technical staff.

Education and Qualifications:

  • 10 15 years experience in the planning design and construction municipal WW conveyance.
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Environmental Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field of study.
  • Experience preparing reviewing and approving project drawings specifications schedules and cost estimates.
  • Experience in process design treatment plants upgrades and pump station design.
  • Client relationship skills: including preparation and development of proposals and client management experience with a successful record of accomplishment delivering a variety of engineering projects that meet or exceed the expectations of the client
  • Strong data analysis and technical problem solving.
  • Willingness to develop competence in a broad array of engineering related tasks
  • Ability to train and mentor junior level staff.
  • Successful track record of proposal writing and development.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • P.E. required.

Thesalary rangefor this role is $100000 $140000 annually.

The employment offer may deviate from this publishedrangebased on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience specialty knowledge education geography and/or related certifications not related to any applicants characteristicsprotected by local state or federal law.Note: The salary or hourly rate indicated does not include other forms of compensationor benefits.
