Director Equity Diversity Inclusion and Culture


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director Equity Diversity Inclusion and Culture who is skilled at managing people and operations as we undergo a period of significant enterprise transformation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker dedicated to driving meaningful change and fostering a culture which embraces diversity equity inclusivity to enhance employee wellbeing.

Job Summary:

This handson leadership role will be responsible for working in partnership with senior leaders and departments across Mitacs to steer the improvement of processes practices and policies related to EDI and Culture. Reporting to the Vice President of EDI and Culture this role will ensure alignment with our organizations overarching goals. This position will also lead a dedicated team of four professionals who support EDI and culture initiatives.

Hiring Range: $115920 $137655

Hiring and Salary Range Transparency

Typically employees are hired transferred or promoted within the salary range specifically between the minimum and midpoint in the hiring range.

The salary range refers to the range of base salaries for a given position encompassing the minimum and maximum amounts. The midpoint of the range is positioned approximately halfway between the minimum and maximum indicating a fully qualified employee with comprehensive job knowledge and experience for the role.

Only in rare and exceptional circumstances where a candidate has the experience skills and expertise that far exceed those required for the position would we consider paying above the hiring range for this role.
