ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is your opportunity to join a progressive organisation and dynamic team at Victorias leading LGBTIQ communitycontrolled health service.

LGBTIQ communities experience sexual and family violence at rates equal to or higher than the nonLGBTIQ population. Thorne Harbour Health is dedicated to addressing the impacts of sexual and family violence in our communities through culturally safe LGBTIQaffirming therapeutic counselling support. Our Therapeutic Services and Family Violence team is committed to transforming the lives of our clients and communities to build and support healing and recovery.

The role will be delivering high quality evidencebased counselling support to clients from the LGBTIQ community and those living with HIV who have been impacted by sexual and family violence. We are seeking an experienced passionate person to join our team of specialist family violence workers working at our Hoddle Street office.
