  • Location: Larrakia Land - Darwin (Palmerstone)
  • Contract: Part Time (0.8 FTE) Ongoing (30.4 hours per week)
  • Salary: Social & Community Services Level 4 $44.58 to $47.97 per hour Super

About the team

The Gendered Violence and Family Programs Team provided a vital role in supporting cis non-binary and gender diverse women and their families impacted by domestic and family violence. Joining our Gendered Violence and Family Programs Team means becoming part of a passionate group committed to trauma-informed client-centred care and meaningful social change.

About this opportunity

As a Case Manager you will provide client-centered case management for people who have experienced domestic or family violence.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver crisis intervention risk and safety planning and holistic support under YWCA frameworks.
  • Conduct intake assessments using the NT Common Risk Assessment Tool.
  • Facilitate property safety upgrades in collaboration with clients.
  • Build respectful relationships with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and reports; participate in after-hours on-call roster.

About You

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Services Social Work or a related field.
  • Proven experience in culturally appropriate strength-based case work with women affected by domestic and family violence.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and family violence issues including legal child protection and policy frameworks.
  • Excellent relationship-building communication and interpersonal skills.
