Description

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is hiring a Peer Support Supervisor to provide consistent orientation and training to new and current Peer Support Specialists.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Provide onshift orientation to new Peer Support staff
  • Provide ongoing training and staff development for addiction services team
  • Review and complete SmartCare competency with new Peer Support staff
  • Provide individual and/or group supervision meeting for CPSP staff and those pursuing certification
  • Inform Addiction Services leadership of Peer Support staff performance and seek direction as needed
  • Attend Leadership meetings/activities as scheduled
  • Attend weekly addiction services leadership meetings to inform program development

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

  • Assists with supply orders for facility and/or programming
  • Assists with residential scheduling of staff staff duties and daily client schedule
  • Monitors clients use of services progress and ongoing safety
  • Utilize electronic medical record for clinical documentation

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFACTIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification as a Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP).
  • At least two 2 years of professional experience as a Peer Support Professional.
  • Possess Certification as a Certified CrisisPeer Supervisor.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and maintain a valid drivers license.
  • Obtain and maintain a verbal deescalation and crisis intervention training.
