Job Description
Custodians provide cleaning and maintenance service for MSU . Primary emphasis is on: Cleaning areas (including restrooms) Carpeted and hardsurface floor care Trash removal Room setups Other related duties
Physical Demands
Moving up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100lbs Moving items (such as stacking chairs folding tables setting up portable stages carrying floor sealer etc. up and down stairs Moving up and down stairs Moving up and down ladders Stationary or moving about for extended periods of time Gripping handles on cleaning equipment Regular exposure to cleaning solutions. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
