About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior AEM Engineer to join our Digital Development team in Sydney on a Permanent FullTime basis paid as a level 5 under the Banking Finance and Industry Award 2020.
As the Senior AEM Engineer you will be responsible for leading the expansion of the AEM footprint within Elders by modernising existing web assets and new sites.
Responsibilities:
Develop frontend code in a timely and highquality manner
Translate business goals into technical requirements conduct code/design reviews and drive the technical implementation
Design develop and maintain scalable and stable web solutions that meet business needs
Translate designs into pixelperfect Encoding output to build engaging contemporary digital experiences
Develop responsive design ensure satisfactory accuracy and compliance across browsers
About you:
Previous experience managing/administering AEM sites & frontend development
Demonstrated knowledge in AEM system design clientlib architecture and HTL/Sightly templating
3years understanding in HTML5 JavaScript CSS3 Sass jQuery W3C standards
Proficient with Git Linux environments and web speed optimization tools (e.g. YSlow PageSpeed)
Basic knowledge of PHP Python Ruby; experience with Photoshop and SEO best practices
Minimum 15yrs experience in the IT and System Design space
Bachelor of Technology
