About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking Aged Care experienced Hospitality Assistants to join our team on a permanent parttime basis with 45 hours on offer. The suited candidates will also be willing to help cover planned and unplanned leave.

Food Services Assistant Role:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving/plating of meals to residents
  • Dishwashing clearing of dishes from the dining rooms/residents rooms
  • Delivery of friendly and efficient food services to our residents
  • Monitoring of food quality quantity and reporting of any issues

To be successful you will have:

  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
  • Complete a police check
  • 2025 Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
  • Evidence of Covid19 vaccination
  • Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
  • Sound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)
  • Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Highly efficient and motivated
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times
  • Knowledge of kitchen processes standards systems and equipment
