Summary: Reporting to the I.T. Manager Infrastructure this position will assist in the support of the MNTC infrastructure including troubleshooting planning and implementation of future network and software systems. Performs help desk support of desktops laptops and mobile devices. Ensures prompt response to onsite and remote end user issues. Maintains documentation of procedures and systems.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of all Wyse thin clients across the organization. This includes managing Wyse Management Studio setting policies updating firmware and configuring DNS/DHCP entries for proper connection.
- Assists with the support of all infrastructure related systems including but not limited to: Nutanix Cisco Citrix Windows and hardware related equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot desktop database and application problems in Citrix environment and provide through explanation of problems to the team.
- Utilizes help desk to identify problems and assists with advanced troubleshooting to quickly solve issues and communicate with staff about potential escalations.
- Is willing to help as needed to other members in the department in an everchanging landscape of daily projects and responsibilities.
- Researches new tools scripts and/or automation to reduce complexity of internal systems and increase reliability.
- Develops troubleshooting documentation and training materials for both department and organizational staff to reduce support calls and increase productivity and communication.
- Applies OS patches images and upgrades on a regular basis. Maintains administrative tools utilities and configures and adds new services and tools in accordance of the direction of the I.T. Manager Infrastructure and I.T. Director.
- Assists with the implementation and changes of Windows backend services such as DHCP DNS Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Enters assets when required into Asset Management system in accordance with company policies.
- Research and propose solutions to improve system performance scalability and reliability.
- Provides help desk support for onsite and remote user desktops laptops and mobile devices.

Minimum Qualifications:
To perform the job successfully an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Experience in the following solutions:
- Citrix Apps and Desktops 7.15
- Wyse device management
- WindowsServers 7/10 Mac OSX iOS and Android
- Nutanix AOS and AHV
- Citrix Certified Associated Virtualization certification preferred
- SonicWall firewalls and Cisco/HP Switches
- Asset Management
- Ability to perform tasks such as providing operating systems and application software installations upgrades and support.
- Confident and selfsufficient professional able to excel in teambased environments.
- Outstanding problem solving communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle and be trusted with confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Knowledge of basic networking such as TCP/IP troubleshooting procedures.
- Knowledge of computer hardware / software installation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to learn new computer systems and software quickly.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Ability to remain on task and follow through projects to their completion.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Availability to work on call after hours. May involve coming to work on days off.
- Job requires employee to use personal vehicle for work related traveling.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Educational/Experience:
- Citrix Certification Associate
Preferred: Two certifications in infrastructure security or software
Target Compensation Range (Negotiable based on Qualifications):
$23.00$26.00/hour
