The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Rome is currently seeking a Director of Recreation
Position Type: FullTime
Pay Rate: $61000$65000
Schedule: days 8am4pm (can be flexible with the schedule)
The Grand Healthcare is seeking a Director of Recreation to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. This is a leadership role focused on enriching the lives of our residents through dynamic and engaging recreational programs. Key Responsibilities:
Plan & Lead Recreation Programs: Design organize implement and evaluate engaging activity programs that cater to the physical emotional and social needs of our residents.
Staffing & Leadership: Assess departmental staffing needs and assign sufficient activity personnel for each shift ensuring the highest standard of service.
Training & Development: Lead inservice training programs that equip your team with the skills needed to deliver exceptional activities and care.
Equipment & Supplies: Oversee the ordering and maintenance of equipment and supplies ensuring everything is operational and available when needed.
Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic personcentered approach to resident care.
