The opportunity
Our People Function works across brands geographies and cultures to support one global Maersk.AsPeople Advisor youll play a vital part in our success supporting our employees with their HR queries so that they can focus on their own jobs. Taking care of their issues whether big or small and making sure they get a great employee experience in every interaction with HR.
A People Advisor is responsible for acting as first point of contact for employees and take ownership of managing each HR related query to conclusion to deliver a positive employee experience.
We are looking to hire a new colleague in our People Advisor Team in Warsaw Poland.

Key Responsibilities
Your role as People Advisor will be to solve the HRrelated queries of our employees and leaders and make sure their interaction with HR results in a great experience. For this you will:
- Own peoples inquiries about HR policies and procedures understand their needs and partner with other HR colleagues to resolve the inquiries
- Actively work in Workday updating employee data and being on top of employee and company changes
- Support the delivery of the HR Cycle with administrative tasks related to onboarding annual performance management job moves exit etc.
- Advise employees on medical insurances sport cards government benefits
- Guide and train employees and managers how to work in Workday and Asistar and on Maersk HR service delivery model

As for the skillset and experience we are looking for:
- Experience in HR and knowledge of Polish local labor law/HR practices
- Great collaboration and communication skills
- Structure and solutionoriented focusing on quality and improvements
- Agility and ability to work in a fastpaced and changing environment
- Fluency in written and verbal Polish and English
- Experience in Workday or ServiceNow HR would be an asset
