This position will play a pivotal role in supporting the Canadian business and Country Head of HR to support the daytoday business activities and buildups for new product launches. The Human Resources Business Partner will take part in critical projects such as transitioning the Canadian HR and payroll administrative support to our Global Business Services (GBS) team as well as continuous improvement initiatives to streamline business processes.
Specific responsibilities include:
Provide local HR support including but not limited to:
o Recruitment logistics
o Onboarding and Offboarding
o Lead Benefits Administration with our third party vendors
o Facilitate local training initiatives including lunch & learns vendor sessions
and community of practice sessions
o Build content and training for Managers Toolbox section of intranet for use
as a key resource for people managers
o Proactively counsel and educate managers across the business on all aspects of labour relations including relevant HR policies procedures legislation regulations and ERrelated training and learning opportunities.
o Draft employee communications as required
o Leaves of absence administration and coordination for approved leaves
o Support annual HR processes
o Create reports complete audits and quarterly metrics as required
o Liaise with the payroll team and other key stakeholders on a regular basis
o HR PO management
Co develop and execute a project plan to transition Canadian HR and Payroll content and processes to GBS as appropriate. This project will include but is not limited to creating job aids delivering training to GBS colleagues on Canadian content.
Support HR project plans as required including but not limited to:
o Research create/revise HR policies process and training to ensure they are current and compliant with legislation by jurisdiction.
o Diversity Equity and Inclusion practices and partnerships
o Digital access for local intranet site
o Fleet vehicle management policy and practices
Perform company business in compliance with relevant regulations company policies and procedures.

Qualifications :
Education:
o University degree (or equivalent for studies obtained outside of Canada)
o CHRP designation strongly preferred
Experience:
o Minimum of 35 years of progressive work experience in HR including experience in as a HR Business Partner role.
Language(s):
o Fluent in English both verbal and written with the ability to communicate effectively crossfunctionally spanning all levels of the organization proficiency in French an asset.
Skills:
o Proficient computer skills with the Microsoft suite of products primarily Word Excel PowerPoint Visio
o Previous experience using WorkDay an asset
o Digital literacy and ability to learn and use multiple inhouse systems with proficiency
o Proactive initiative and priority management. Ability to multitask while having competing priorities and following through in a timely manner
o Strong attention to detail and problem solving capabilities
o Demonstrated organization and rigor in project management
o Continuous improvement mindset
o Demonstrated capability for interdisciplinary/team work as well as ability to work independently and productively
o Confidentiality and discretion are critical for success in this role
