The Opportunity
AliveCor India seeks a Director of Business Development to join a startup leading the digital health revolution. This role is focused on building longterm value through businesstobusiness partnership opportunities. Reporting to the Managing Director of AliveCor India and to the SVP of Partnerships at AliveCor Inc the Director will source negotiate and close deals as well as manage account relationships within India and APAC. He/She will be responsible for identifying developing and managing new and existing businesstobusiness opportunities. The role involves researching potential clients understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions to meet those needs. The Director will collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives. The role is based out of AliveCor Indias Bangalore office.
Role and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends opportunities and competitive landscape within the healthcare and medical devices industry.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Pharma health systems medical device makers technology companies and other relevant sectors.
Partnership Development: Identify potential partnerships and collaborations that align with AliveCors mission and business objectives.
Sales Strategy: Experience with Medical devices sales will be an added advantage.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external teams to create mutually beneficial term sheets and contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Healthcare Management or a related field; MBA preferably from a Tier 1/2 college.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of work experience in business development and/or sales within the healthcare or medical devices industry in India. Exposure to APAC would be an added advantage.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem including familiarity with regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
Networking Skills: Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with key industry players including pharmaceutical companies and healthcare providers.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
