Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Professionalism Greets visitors of diverse backgrounds by connecting with individuals in respectful dialogue to collect and obtain information to resolve any issues/concerns. The student will collaborate with HR professionals to improve processes and share ideas on how to improve our customer service for the university. Technology The student will assist with launching our new addition to the employment verification process by adding new hires into the everify system and maintaining spreadsheets for tracking. The Human Resources Front Desk Attendant will greet and direct visitors; answer screen and direct phone calls; assist students with payrollrelated questions; conduct webbased research; assist with project work; file and copy documents; make campuswide deliveries; and perform other officerelated tasks as assigned.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift and carry officerelated material as required.
Required Qualifications
1. Current student in good academic standing. 2. Able to follow directions with accuracy and in a timely manner. 3. Articulate verbal and written communication skills. 4. Detailoriented; able to alphabetize. 5. General office skills. 6. Computer skills: Microsoft Word Excel and the internet.
