We are looking for a HGV Class 1 driver to work with our client based in the Driffield area.
Requirements:
- Age: 25 (for insurance reasons)
- Digital Tacho Card
- Valid Driver CPC
- No more than 6 points on licence
- No DD DUI etc. offences
Job Description:
You will be responsible for multidrop deliveries primarily servicing small businesses with kerbside deliveries. Experience with fridge/freezer operations is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct kerbside deliveries to small businesses (no distribution centres
- Average of 3 nights out per week
- No weekend work
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong problemsolving skills and adaptability
- Safetyconscious with a good working knowledge of EU drivers hours laws
- Commitment to delivering excellent service to help build our business and your career
Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: 13.71 for the first 42.5 hours 17.80 thereafter
- Night Out Allowance: 25 per night out (taxfree)
- Overtime available after 42.5 hours
- Onsite parking
- No weekend work
