McCormick & Company Inc. a global leader in the spice flavor and seasonings industry is seeking a fulltime Project Engineering Supervisor. This new hire will work in the Hunt Valley Plantlocated in Hunt Valley MD. The Project Engineering Supervisorwill report to a Engineering Manager.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
- This position strategicallymanages capital projects directs the activities of project engineers within their Discipline anddevelops Engineering/Project Management Process and Technology Standardizationat theHunt Valley Plant.
- Incumbent is responsible for leading Disciplines overall goals objectives and strategies as they relate to the Campus capital strategy development and implementation to support the Business goals for building capability reliability cost reduction waste reduction safety quality and sanitation improvements and downtime reduction in a TPM environment.
- The incumbent is also responsible for the management of project engineers and/or external engineering resourcesas well as oversight for all related projects.
- This position demonstrates a deep respect for the capabilities of all people believing that people will contribute to what they understand and feel is in their best and selfinterest. Must be able to structure their approach based on the core belief that the success of the company depends upon the capabilities and contributions of all people in the organization.
- The role directly leads engineers vendors contractors engineering firms and suppliers.
ABOUT YOU:
- Minimum 8 years Engineering and Project Management experience in manufacturing
- Experience in continuous improvement environment. Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management process.
- Experience with handling multiple projects using a variety of strategies and methodologies as required
- Ability to influence across all levels of the organization throughout the project development and process will be critical to deliver a strategic capital plan.
- Maintains strong relationships with NA Engineering Marketing Packaging Development Quality Maintenance and Operations to meet the needs of the overall business.
- Provides mentoring coaching and leading technology and skills development. Will be the primary interface for the engineering discipline. Leadership of exempt staff to achieve business objectives.
- Position requires ability to effectively communicate project implementation to all levels of the organization. Strong crossfunctional strategic leadership communication and teamwork skills. Ability to translate strategy into actionable information in small or large groups in a clear concise and professional manner.
