Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Laundry Supervisor to lead our laundry team at Mvenpick Hotel Baghdad. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the laundry staff ensuring timely and high-quality service.
- Monitor the proper handling and care of hotel linen uniforms guest laundry and dry-cleaning services.
- Ensure that all laundry equipment is operated safely and maintained regularly.
- Manage inventory levels of laundry supplies and place orders as needed.
- Train and guide laundry attendants on proper procedures and hygiene standards.
- Inspect laundered items for cleanliness quality and presentation before delivery.
- Maintain proper records for laundry operations including usage production and damages.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations and service flow.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a laundry supervisory role preferably in a hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of laundry operations fabric care and chemical handling.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
- Basic English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
