Job Description
Position Summary
The Inventory Coordinator position will be maintaining the inventory within the warehouse and working with production and procurement to ensure the inventory levels are correct. Investigating discrepancies physically and systemically to find the root cause. This role will involve a high degree of involvement in the implementation of a cycle count program.
Position Responsibilities
- Knowledge of warehouse functions. Working with team members and others throughout the organization.
- This role will help implement a cycle count program and will be managing this process to ensure inventory is correct.
- Investigate inventory issues and determine the root cause.
- Manage the empty bin process to ensure production has the material needed with minimal disruptions to the production line.
- The candidate must pay good attention to detail to perform cycle counts as needed. Receives Moves/ Locates materials equipment and other items in the warehouse.
- Report damages and inventory variances immediately
- Willingness to crosstrain in different warehouse processes or production
Position Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent. Must have strong mathematical skills.
- Must be a team player and willing to help where needed.
- Understanding inventory control processes cycle counting processes and basic inventory functions.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems Genius ERP system a plus.
- Employees must abide by all safety protocols and utilize all required PPE
- Preferably candidates with experience utilizing various equipment including Sit down forklift reach truck and Turret truck or scissor lift. Candidates should not have an issue with going up to 30 ft. on equipment
- The ability to lift up to 75 lbs. position requires standing pushing pulling bending twisting kneeling and lifting for the entire duration of the shift. Loads and unloads materials from pallets skids and platforms either manually or mechanically.
- Work in a nontemperature regulated facility
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Hours for this position will be 6:00 am 2:30 pm Monday thru Friday
