About this Job



Mission:
The mission of the LPC Board of Examiners is to protect the public interest by regulating the practice of mental health counseling the practice of marriage and family therapy and the use of the titles of Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or any similar term Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT).

An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:

Following Policies & Procedures: The ability to comply with policies and procedures of the organization as well as State Civil Service rules and all applicable federal and state laws

Learning Actively: The ability to acquire necessary knowledge and skills to improve performance and achieve organizational goals.


Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
