Fall Spring and Summer Sessions. Parttime Lecturer applicant pool. Nontenure pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. Evening weekend television distance education (i.e. Lanai and Molokai) and offcampus (various high school campuses) may be assigned as part of regular workload.

Beginning Spring 2025

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Teach assigned courses in the discipline qualified for.
2. Maintain minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
3. Prepare course syllabi grading and reports related to teaching and student progress
4. Work under supervision of Discipline Coordinator/Division Chairperson in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area.
5. May include instructional assignments involving distance education.
6. Other duties as assigned

• Masters Degree in Communication

1. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds
2. Demonstrated ability to work with multi cultural student populations.
3. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
4. Ability to use writing assignments and integrate teaching of appropriate thinking skills into course content as an integral part of students classroom learning activities
