Job Description
The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a PartTime 0.60 f.t.e. Educational Assistant atE.E. Oliver ElementarySchool. This position willis commence immediately and continuing until June 27th 2025. The successful candidate will be working with students in Kindergarten through Grade 6 with diverse learning needs.
E. E. Oliver Elementary School is a K6 school located in the town of Fairview 560 kms northwest ofEdmonton and 100 Km north of Grande Prairie. The school provides a comprehensive educational program for its students.
Qualifications:
- Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience and/or training working with student in school setting.
- Ability to work with children with varied ages skills level needs and abilities.
Skills:
- Willingness to be part of a learning team take direction and follow programs without direct supervision.
- Willingness to attend training and professional development opportunities on individual learning and complex learning needs.
- Ability to be flexible to the changing classroom environment and individual child needs
- Ability to manage and organize programming and keep records.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers.
Requirements:
- Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check .

This is Union position under CUPE Employees Local 4839 Peace River Support Staff.
Rate of Pay:
$20.72 to $25.99 per hour(dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
