Position Summary
The Indiana University School of MedicineFort Wayne IUSM FW) invites applications for a fulltime faculty position in the Department of Anatomy Cell Biology and Physiology. Successful applicants will have medically related teaching experience and be expected to contribute to the IUSM Phase I teaching mission in the area of physiology of organ systems as well as IUSM FWs Scholarly Concentration program in Health Integration and Healthy Aging. Applicants should demonstrate an exceptional record of teaching as well as the ability to establish an active externally funded research program preferably in the areas of medical education or metabolism. Opportunities exist for collaborations with multiple departments throughout the School of Medicine. IU School of Medicine is the largest medical school in the country with more than 20000 living alumni and 3000 learners on nine campuses across the state. Its diverse faculty is made up of 2914 fulltime members and 3737 volunteer faculty who are responsible for training medical graduate and postgraduate students. IU School of Medicine is the only allopathic medical school in Indiana. IUSM FW is one of the nine campuses is located on the campuses of Indiana University Fort Wayne and Purdue University Fort Wayne and offers all four years of medical education.
