Pay: $26.00 $33.00 per hour

Scherer Bros. is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain CNC machinery (e.g. belts bearings)
- Replace faulty electrical components such as relays switches motors and position sensing devices
- Install and upkeep pneumatic equipment systems
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with supervisor
- Schedule and oversee projects at various locations
- Procure necessary supplies
- Perform general building maintenance (e.g. repair doors lights ballasts)
- Maintain physical structures of buildings
- Additional responsibilities include plumbing fixture repairs surface preparation painting and prioritizing safety in the workplace
- 3 years of experience in CNC machinery/manufacturing maintenance
- Vocational Certificates and/or experience in Electrical HVAC PLC and Plumbing are desirable
- Ability to read and interpret documents safety rules and operating manuals
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong problemsolving abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads bend stoop and work at heights
- Ability to lift and carry 50 to 100 lbs
- Exposure to various environmental conditions including extreme temperatures and loud noises
- Majority of work conducted indoors with occasional outdoor tasks
- Overtime work may be required
- Travel to other Scherer Bros. locations within the local/metro area may be necessary
