What you will be responsible for:

TheHR Generalistis responsible for the administration of HR policies procedures and programs and supports departmental development employee relations training and organizational development compensation and employment. This individual is expected to execute the Windings ESOP model by providing leadership and coaching in HR strategies processes and daytoday generalist support activities to business leaders in the company. Additionally the HR Generalist will work closely with business leaders to drive and support all employee engagement initiatives.
  • Serves as Windings onsite HR representative
  • Conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Maintains necessary personnel documentation for employee files to include wages overtime performance reviews disciplinary actions etc.
  • Supports and coordinates various activities designed to promote and maintain a high level of employee engagement and ownership.
  • Assists with the administration of HR programs (i.e. performance reviews merit employee development etc. to ensure effectiveness compliance and equity within organization.
  • Provides training and information to management in interviewing hiring terminations promotions performance review safety and sexual harassment.
  • Supports organizational development initiatives required to meet business goals. This may include developing and the delivery of training.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life health dental and disability insurances 401(k) paid time off leave of absence and employee assistance.
  • Administers personnel transactions such as hires promotions transfers performance reviews and terminations and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies procedures and programs.
  • Maintains knowledge of current legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies procedures and reporting are in compliance.
  • Responsible for the administration of employee surveys general employee communications and newsletters.
  • Supports safety initiatives by filing reports with insurance carrier and monitoring workers compensation claims.
  • Provides support for total compensation programs (base wages variable pay recognition and benefits) to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Participates and represents the company on Unemployment requirements to include documentation and telephone hearings
What you need...

Education:
  • 4year degree with a focus in HR management business or communication preferred.
Experience:
  • 57 years of HR generalist experience; in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Professional HR Certification such as PHR or SHRMCP a plus.
  • Experience with manufacturing or engineering industries highly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Professional ethical and confidential behavior and skills at all times.
  • Working knowledge of relevant employment and labor legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and followup communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills in Word Excel PowerPoint and HRIS.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Salary Range: $65000 $80000 annually DOQ

This position is eligible to participate in aperformancebased bonus programbased on company performance goals. Bonus payouts are not guaranteed and are determined at the companys discretion.
