We also specialize in providing electrical safety products to various industries such as coal mines and private sectors. We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team and drive sales in the northern region. This role is vital in expanding our customer base and achieving revenue targets through B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities/Functions
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market share in the Northern Region.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
Approach potential customers including state utilities (transmission and distribution companies) coal mines and private industries to promote and sell our testing and measuring kits and electrical safety products.
Oversee the sales team and drive them to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Collaborate with key accounts and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Possess an indepth understanding of our testing and measuring kits and electrical safety products.
Conduct product presentations and training sessions for the sales team.
Conduct product demonstrations presentations and technical discussions to showcase the benefits and features of our products addressing customer needs and requirements.
Understand customer challenges and propose appropriate product solutions to meet their specific needs ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
Negotiate pricing terms and conditions of sales agreements with customers while adhering to company policies and profitability goals.
Recruit train and mentor a highperforming sales team.
Provide guidance and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds set goals.
Foster and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
Address customer inquiries concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Provide accurate sales forecasts reports and updates on a regular basis to the sales management team ensuring visibility into sales pipeline and potential opportunities.
Provide regular reports and updates on market conditions to the leadership team.
Develop and manage budgets for the Northern Region sales activities.
Ensure costeffective use of resources while maximizing returns.
Undertake frequent travel within the northern region to meet customers attend trade shows conferences and industry events.
