Salary Range:
$25.00 To $33.00 Hourly
Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) 6708 Townline Road Syracuse is located just off NY298

Hiring Service Technician / Mechanic
Experience with truckmounted hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial devices digger derricks cranes; construction mining farm equipment.
CTOS equipment includes Utility Trucks & Equipment Boom Bucket Digger Derricks.
Load King TEREX Manitowoc Elliott National Cranes.
Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with overtime as needed.
Must hold a valid drivers license and mechanics tools.
CTOS offers pay based on experience healthcare 401K match 25 paid days off per year tool discount STEP Technician training program and more
Duties:
Assess diagnose repair and/or replace damaged / worn parts on a variety of vocational / utility trucks & equipment.
Provide repair and maintenance to medium / heavy duty trucks and background in hydraulics and electrical.
Assess diagnose repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards are achieved.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts services and labor to track costs so vehicles can be properly priced and reflect the value of quality offered by the company.
Submit all work/repair orders as required to a supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained and costs of vehicle repairs accurately reflected.
Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment.
Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.
Other duties as required.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Skills:
High school diploma or the equivalent
Experience with diesel medium or heavy truck or related equipment. (construction farm military)
General mechanical aptitude / knowledge of hydraulic electrical construction farm or truck
Basic Computer skills and ability to document repair activity.
Preferred Skills:
Vocational Technical School or Military Wheeled Mechanic or related training a plus
3 plus years maintenance and repair of Utility Trucks and Equipment.
Vocational Technical School or Military Wheeled Mechanic or related training a plus
Must hold a valid drivers license.
Must have your own tools.

Physical effort to move objects and tools; frequent stooping bending squatting and kneeling and a high level of dexterity.
