Job Description
Matrix Providers is immediately hiring an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) at Walter Reed National Medical Center in Bethesda MD.
- Full Time Monday Friday: 7:30AM to 4:30 PM
- No Nights No Weekends No OnCall
- This is a salaried position that equates $104000 annually (Competitive financial package)

LCSW Requirements:
- Education/Degree: Graduated from an Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Accredited Masters of Social Work (MSW) program
- Certification: Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience: Have a minimum of two 2 years of experience within the past five 5 years in the independent practice of clinical social work to provide mental health counseling therapy and intervention services within the patient population of Infants up to and including Adults.
- Licensure: Current full active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Job Summary:
- Coordinate appropriate referrals to community and other Government agencies for services.
- Independently assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their family members and formulate and implement a treatment plan identifying the patients problems strengths weaknesses coping skills and assistance needed in collaboration with the patient family and interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Independently conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocial treatment to individuals from various socioeconomic cultural ethnic educational and other backgrounds.
- Implement treatment modalities in working with individuals families and groups experiencing various psychiatric medical and social problems to achieve treatment goals.
- Independently provide counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals groups couples and families. Must practice within the bounds of the license or certification.
