Develops software solutions by studying information needs conferring with users and studying systems flow data usage and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications standards and programming.

This Software Engineer 3 contractor position is part of the Administrative Applications SharePoint team and will be working to develop enhancements and provide support for the Texas HHS Legislative Tracking System (LTS) 2.0 Power Platform application. This position will perform Software Engineer/Application Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Power Apps Canvas and Modeldriven apps Dataverse Power Automate Flows for business process automation and Power BI reports.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 8 years RequiredExperience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
- 8 years RequiredExperience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
- 8 years RequiredHandson experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate technical solutions
- 8 years RequiredMicrosoft Power Platform development experience
- 8 years RequiredExperience with Agile development processes and sprint planning
- 8 years RequiredExperience in design and development of Canvas and Modeldriven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse SharePoint or other databases as the backend data storage model
- 8 years RequiredExperience in design and development of Power BI reports
- 8 years RequiredExperience developing Power Automate Flows Desktop Flows business process flows
- 8 years RequiredExperience in Dataverse tables and uses
- 3 years PreferredExperience in Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center
- 3 years PreferredGood teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project
