Are you a dynamic and passionate Social Sciences teacher looking to join a thriving department in Derby We are seeking a highly motivated Social Sciences Teacher to teach KS3 to KS5 students with the potential for a TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility). This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to the ongoing success of the department.

About the Social Sciences Department: The Social Sciences Department is a thriving and collaborative team that covers a wide range of subjects including Sociology Psychology Criminology and Health and Social Care. The department is committed to delivering a highquality curriculum that engages students and encourages their academic and personal development. As part of the team you will have the chance to contribute to curriculum development and student outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Social Sciences to KS3 KS4 and KS5.
- Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing support as needed.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovation.
- Opportunity for a TLR role for the right candidate with leadership responsibilities within the department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
- PGCE or QTS.
- Experience in teaching Social Sciences at KS3 and KS4 with the ability to teach KS5 (ALevel) if applicable.
- ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
