What will I be doing
As an engineer within the 24/7/365 Global Operations Centre you will...
- Provide valuable monitoring insights for our website and infrastructure services ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Respond to critical monitoring events engaging with the wider technical group to triage and restore service.
- Manage coordinate & communicate Major Incidents
- Manage coordinate & communicate Scheduled Maintenance & Changes
- Log and respond to queries raised by internal or external customers over the phone via email and chat.
- Develop processes and procedures
What skills and experience would I need
- A minimum of 2 years Technical Support experience ideally in a NOC capacity.
- Excellent customer service skills
- A natural ability to understand needs problemsolve and find solutions
- Basic Database administration and SQL query writing
- Monitoring Alerting and Insights
- Good allaround knowledge of server hardware and cloud technologies
- Detail orientated
