Job Description

Role Summary

This outside truck sales opportunity is focused on helping prospective and existing truck customers make both new and used commercial truck purchases.

Truck sales job description

  • Call on trucking customers on a regular basis.
  • Present the vast number of valueadded services and products Allstate Peterbilt offers.
  • Maintain knowledge of the trucking industry and Peterbilt trucks.
  • Work with sales customers calling or visiting the dealership on assigned days.
  • Manage truck sales details such as specifications scheduling sales orders pricing etc.
  • Complete ongoing training.

Territory Sales Representative Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic with excellent selfdiscipline and time management skills.
  • Outgoing personality and desire to meet new people.
  • Reasonable mechanical knowledge with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of trucks and trucking is a benefit.
  • Customer relations experience within the Trucking Industry or a related industry.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Orientation.
  • A desire for unlimited earning potential.
  • A record of success in past positions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Some travel is required.
  • Commercial drivers license or ability to obtain one preferred.
