The impact youll have:
Reporting to the Financial Accountant the Junior Financial Accountant will support and execute operational reporting to Trade Receivables and Payables Bank Reconciliations Expenses and other adhoc reporting. The ideal candidate will be automation/efficiency focused.
Your daytoday:
- Responsible for reconciliation of Trade Receivables and Trade Payables between
operational systems to accounting systems - Responsible for creating ageing and generating commercial insights from Trade
Receivables and Trade Payables balances - Responsible for completing Bank Reconciliations on time and flagging any issues
early - Responsible for processing expenses/ invoices in line with agreed payment
terms - Supporting adhoc Finance Automation Projects (Including revamp of current
Overheads payment process) - Supporting adhoc Financial Reporting
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve payment queries / validate details
- Liaising with auditors as and when required
Your skillset:
- Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliations with a focus on Trade Receivables
and Trade Payables - Experience of working on monthend financial close tasks with a focus on
delivering within timeline - Experience in invoice/expenses coding
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience of Finance Automation and/ or Finance efficiency improvements
- Understanding of internal controls environment
- Self starter and proactive
- Positive attitude to challenges
Not necessary but would be desirable to have:
- SUN Q&A experience
- G Suite experience
- End to end implementation of Finance Automation
- Webexpenses or other out of pocket expenses software experience
- Commitment to continuous improvement
