Responsibilities: As a Graduate Trainee Accountant you will play a vital role in supporting the financial functions of our clients. Your daily duties and responsibilities will include:
Audit Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the planning and of financial audits.
- Conducting substantive testing and analytical review procedures.
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
- Collaborating with audit teams to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
- Preparing audit documentation and work papers.
Accounts Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial statements for clients including income statements and balance sheets.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Performing bank reconciliation and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts.
- Handling general ledger entries and maintaining financial records.
Tax Responsibilities:
- Supporting the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Assisting in tax planning and compliance activities.
- Researching tax regulations and staying updated on changes in tax laws.
- Responding to client queries regarding tax matters.
- Collaborating with the tax team to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
Client Interaction:
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Communicating with clients to gather necessary financial information.
- Guiding accounting and taxrelated matters.
- Responding to client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Compliance:
- Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring changes in accounting and auditing standards.
- Supporting the implementation of new accounting and tax regulations.
Team Collaboration:
- Working collaboratively with other members of the practice.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to discussions.
- Supporting team members in completing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
Qualifications: To be considered for this role candidates should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree classification in a financerelated discipline. (Accounting & Finance Mathematics Finance and Economics)
- Strong A Level results.
- A minimum of 5 Cs at GCSE.
- Analytical mindset and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Benefits
