ROLE OVERVIEW
The Director eCommerce Operations plays a pivotal role in enhancing our ecommerce capabilities. By refining processes partnering with the technology team and strengthening organizational structures this role ensures a smooth and satisfying online shopping journey for our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee website operations including maintenance of ecommerce platform components like scheduling regular storefront deployments content management system uploads promotion launches product taglines shipping updates pricing etc.
- Analyze site data for product trends search trends etc. to propose new collections and then partner with the crossfunctional teams to create those collections and manage them for their lifespan.
- Create and manage product attributes as necessary to ensure proper product categorization.
- Uphold exceptional standards in process optimization implementation alignment across functions and seamless incorporation of daily business initiatives within routine ecommerce operations.
- Create processes and proactively troubleshoot issues related to website product setup pricing content and promotions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience including ecommerce engineering creative marketing and customer service.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of direct reports providing oncall support for promotion launches product launches and site issues outside of regular business hours.
- Spearhead enterprisewide holiday readiness initiatives to optimize ecommerce operations.
- In collaboration with the engineering team establish and maintain efficient support processes such as team calendar management oncall rotation incident handling protocols effective communication channels and clear escalation procedures.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to ensure proper configuration and operation of new or enhanced features and feedback into those features.
- Contribute to defining and continuously improving the agile development environment.
- Proactively solicit team feedback and work closely with engineering to implement automated solutions for continuous improvement.
- Foster crossfunctional collaboration for business growth and a culture of transparency teamwork and accountability.
- Perform such other duties as directed by the supervisor.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- 810 years of eCommerce digital operations experience within an ecommerce fashion environment.
- Ability to lead mentor and build a diverse team.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a fastpaced work environment while effectively communicating across various channels.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce business and practices
- Experience with online digital consumer solutions such as CMSs (Sanity) Shopify promotion tools product information management (PIM) and other similar systems
- Proven experience in executing solutions with attention to detail and strong followthrough
- Ability to prioritize team success and engage in energetic collaboration
- Excellent communication skills (written verbal visual)
- Be customercentric and focused on delivering seamless experiences
- Perform other duties as the supervisor assigns as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
- BABS degree or equivalent work experience
- English additional language(s) an advantage
- Schedule of this position: Monday Friday Core business hours Onsite
