Job Description

Griffith Foods is a global manufacturer of food products. We provide a wide range of taste and texture components for food industry customers throughout the world. Our products include seasoning blends dry mixes coating systems dough blends crumbs flavors sauces and food bases that are used in an extensive variety of application from snack foods and processed meat and poultry to ready meals. Our customers include food processors restaurant operators and grocery retailers. Location:Hybrid (Home & Alsip IL)

Summary:The Global Manager of Payroll will be leading the global payroll function under the management of our Global Senior Manager of Payroll with a focus on ensuring payroll is processed efficiently and effectively in a standardized way across the globe. The Griffith Foods payroll process is outsourced to a global payroll aggregator CloudPay and currently includes 26 countries and 35 payrolls.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Global Payroll Team based in these countries in implementing CloudPay and is responsible for ensuring the team delivers the correct information and documentation through the integration of CloudPay and Workday. After implementation this position will serve as the global CloudPay system administrator. This position will interact crossfunctionally with the Griffith HR and finance teams and will be responsible for developing training and leading our payroll team members in various locations throughout the world.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global CloudPay implementation project with various 2025 golive dates.
  • Assist as a system administrator for CloudPay under the Sr Manager of Global Payroll
  • Manage all integrations from CloudPay and the various in country payroll providers as well as the Workday to CloudPay integration.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Global HR leaders and their peers.
  • Conduct regular reviews with the local teams to understand reasons for any errors omissions or delays in payroll processing and provide solutions.
  • Be the first point of contact for all payroll questions related to CloudPay.
  • Investigate reconcile and correct payroll data issues discrepancies and errors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of employee payroll payments.
  • Create build and manage all global payroll reporting on time to ensure timely approval.
  • Work closely with Griffith HR/Payroll Finance and Accounting teams to ensure data integrity system efficiency and quality in the payroll process whilst also understanding the impact for changes not only within payroll system but in the finance function as well as other ancillary systems and processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of strong experience with payroll software and systems.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Payroll system administrator experience.
  • Experience with CloudPay payroll a plus.
  • High level of integrity and experience keeping confidential payroll information secure.
  • Excellent attention to detail ability to meet tight deadlines and remain flexible in a fastpaced growth company environment.
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones.
  • Payroll system implementation experience a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to effectively communicate and collaborate crossfunctionally with multiple levels of management and executive leadership.
  • Strong oral written interpersonal and technical communication skills.
  • Strong skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel Outlook and Word).
