Summary:
This position provides Homeless Prevention and Rapid ReHousing services through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families Grant. Services are to be provided to lowincome Veteran families that are at risk of becoming homeless or who currently are homeless. The Veterans First program follows a Housing First model and philosophy. The Case Manager will always utilize best practices and participantcenteredness. The Case Manager will assist Veteran Families in quickly maintaining or obtaining permanent housing to achieve housing stability within 90 days. The Case Manager will work to empower lowincome Veteran Families in DC Arlington Alexandria Loudoun Prince William Fairfax Montgomery Frederick and Prince Georges counties to become stably housed.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:
A minimum of 50 of time may be spent working in the field with participants in the car outdoors or in shelters. Other time will be spent in the office completing administrative paperwork and meeting with the supervisor.
Background Checks
The selected candidate will be required to complete and pass background checks specific to contract requirements which may include reference checks education and employment history verifications criminal history background checks and fingerprinting FBI Background Checks National Sex Offender Registry Checks and Driving Record checks.

Specific Requirements: Must have own transportation to carry out job duties and responsibilities. The vehicle must meet legal requirements (insured registered etc. and the employee must have a valid drivers license.

Compensation: The hiring pay range is between $58117.00 and $63506.00 annually. The starting annual salary is based on a step system. A candidates starting pay determination is based on meeting the basic position requirements and current completed education credentials and work experience. Please note: The step system is set and not open to pay negotiation.
