Job Description

As Director (seasoned VPs can be considered) Debt Capital Markets youll be responsible for supporting the Head of Global Capital Markets GCM across all aspects of the client portfolio as well as playing an in important role in the development and of an ambitious growth strategy for the wider Wholesale Bank. This role is focused on bond origination and and is an integral part of the ING APAC Global Capital Markets team and the broader Capital Markets & Advisory group.

Youll work closely with our partners in INGs value chain including sectors country debt syndicate fixed income sales sustainable finance and legal teams in order to deliver bestin class advice and for bond funding opportunities for financial institutions (across covered senior unsecured and capitalrelated) and investment grade corporates. Youll embody our Orange Code and have a passion for commercial excellence in providing coverage support to clients

What youll do

  • Originate multicurrency bond transactions for existing and potential ING clients and drive on mandated transactions
  • Independently coordinate marketing efforts and lead from mandate to close
  • Manage external client relationship as senior originator / deal principal
  • Provide clients with regular writeups of key macroeconomic developments as well as primary and secondary debt capital market flows as well as translating all of this into funding recommendations and relevant pricing indications (in the form of pitch books and / or regular market & pricing updates or else)
  • Responsible for entire relevant approval processes including CDD/KYC

What were looking for

  • Ideally 7 years of relevant and direct DCM (origination) experience
  • Related tertiary degree or industry qualification
  • Solid expertise in structuring and advising clients regarding their capital structure and finance solutions
  • Proven experience in NonFinancial Risk frameworks and reviewing finance documentation
  • Previous experience in credit/lending focused areas
