Job Description
Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Sev1Tech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Equipment Training Officer to join our team at the Journeyman level. As a New Equipment Training Officer you will play a critical role in ensuring our organizations successful implementation and training of personnel on new technologies and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop comprehensive training programs for new equipment and technologies. Ensure training materials are current effective and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for personnel at various levels. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and tools to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve and refine training initiatives.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and uptodate training documentation including training plans manuals and records of training sessions. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordination and Logistics: Work closely with logistics and operations teams to coordinate training schedules facilities and resources. Ensure that training environments are conducive to effective learning.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to trainees during and after training sessions. Address questions and concerns to enhance overall understanding and proficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a SECRET level clearance
- 6 years of Military experience and/or experience in Training and Development or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in training technical communications equipment (i.e.: SATCOM RF LAN/WAN)
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs particularly for new equipment implementation.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Training and Development or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a relevant industry.
