What Youll Be Doing
Youll be joining CIBCs Application Engineering team. Youll lead complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBCs enterprise roadmap. As an Application Consultant you will build implement and maintain easy flexible and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience.Youll lead the technical design development and integration of these applications.
How Youll Succeed
Design and Development Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities. Design the applications technical infrastructure using specific databases programming languages utilities and testing approaches.Lead the design and development of costeffective and innovative solutions.
Strategic Planning Develop multiyear technology roadmaps that align with the banks vision strategy and business objectives. Lead multiple complex projects involving backend systems new technology and the enhancement of existing applications.
Leadership Skills Act as the development lead and run codereview sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet objectives. Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge collaborating and problem solving.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate a minimum 8 years of development experience using the following must have languages or tools:
Angular
RedHat Open shift
Azure Cloud
GoLang
Java
MongoDb Postgress
