Job Summary
The Evaluation and Research Assistant supports evaluation and Research of a HRSA funded project in the Department of Family & Preventive Medicine. The Evaluation and Research Assistant in general will engage in administrative evaluation research writing presenting and scholarship tasks.
Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities: Research and synthesize existing literature on topics of interest to the funded project. Create instruments such as surveys interview guides and other protocols and measures. Plan and implement data collection and clean manage and analyze data using data and/or statistical software packages such as Excel SAS SPSS Stata or R. Collection and analyses of both qualitative and quantitative data. Prepare results for dissemination in various media including reports conference presentations and journal publications. Communicate and collaborate with and receive guidance and instruction from the senior research analyst senior project personnel and other evaluation and research assistants. Administrative tasks such as submitting proposals and manuscripts scheduling meetings preparing agendas and meeting minutes and other tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in a related field. Previous research experience is preferred. Demonstrates ability to work with minimal supervision or independently analyze and make decisions related to evaluation and research projects. Detailedoriented coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize work and coordinate deadlines.
