Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Customer Print Specialist where you will play a pivotal role in providing outstanding customer service operating printing machinery and ensuring the flawless production of professionally finished print products. This multifaceted position requires a customerfocused individual with excellent communication skills an eye for detail and the ability to handle various responsibilities including print production bindery finishing and customer interactions.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter and respond promptly to their inquiries.
- Utilize excellent customer service skills to build relationships and understand customers print needs.
- Operate printing machinery including printers folders and inserters to produce highquality print products.
- Perform machine setup adjustment and basic troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Capture project information using order intake tools and provide customers with total print solutions.
- Assist customers in placing print orders offering guidance on printing options and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor print production processes ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on printing equipment.
- Ring up of print orders and process payments accurately.
- Engage in heavy lifting standing walking and other physical tasks to move supplies in the 1050 pound range.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively.
- Basic computer skills including the ability to work with electronic files emails and Microsoft Word (or similar programs).
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality issues in print products.
- Ability to work collaboratively with customers and team members to provide total print solutions.
- Previous experience in light manufacturing especially in printing is preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions work efficiently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Experience working under deadlines and willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Physical ability to engage in standing bending stooping and lifting (up to 50 lbs..
