Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to support the academic and behavioral needs of students within Port Arthur Texas. The ideal candidate will conduct assessments develop intervention strategies and support staff through training and consultation.

Requirements:

Must be licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists

Experience with psychoeducational assessments and schoolbased services preferred

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments

Participate in ARD meetings and communicate findings

Perform classroom observations and interviews

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

Provide consultations to staff and parents

Offer teacher and staff training on psychological topics

Comply with federal state and district guidelines for special education

Any other duties as assigned.
