As a Freddie Mac Professional within Multifamily (MF) Capital Markets youll get the experience to understand and manage Multifamilys credit market and liquidity risk. Since 2009 Multifamily Capital Markets has been a leader in Credit Risk Transfer (CRT) pioneering the development of innovative capital markets products that effectively transfer credit risk while enhancing market liquidity. Our portfolio includes senior subordinate securitized products such as those within the Kdeal suite as well as CRT products like MSCR and MCIP. These transactions play a critical role in safeguarding Freddie Mac and taxpayers by mitigating risk during economic downturns while also improving operational efficiency by optimizing capital requirements.
In this role you will be an integral part of the CRT Analytics Team and will be expected to:
Develop an understanding of commercial real estate (CRE) finance and fixedincome markets including macroeconomic trends multifamily mortgage regulations competitive dynamics and relative value analysis across various capital markets executions.
Develop enhanced analytics to look at different risk transfer structures and understand risk adjusted returns under different frameworks
Generate Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly portfolio/risk forecasts based on pipeline forecasts and other risk metrics
Identify emerging trends in new business and in our portfolio related to credit and market risk evaluations and work with the team to devise new products/structures to optimize risk adjusted returns
Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Finance STEM Math or related discipline; work towards advanced studies/degree preferred
At least 2 4 years of experience in fixed income securities and mortgage related products
Being able to use programming language e.g. Python SAS SQL for reporting /data analysis
Ability to translate sophisticated financial data into relevant analysis and presentations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with cashflow modeling structuring and ERCF capital framework preferred
Intellectually curious and strong attention to details and be able to multitask
Reliable dependable diligent and organized with good time management skills
Prior work experience in Financial Services Industry
Resultsoriented creative and forwardthinking problemsolver with a can do demeanor and ability to deliver business value quickly and with quality
Ability to understand and communicate well
Ability to work in a dynamic constantly evolving business environment

This position has an annualized marketbased salary range of $108000 $162000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.Required Experience:
