Job Description
Stamford Health Medical Group (SHMG) in partnership with Stamford Hospital is seeking an additional fulltime endocrinologist available to start in 2025.The endocrinology group practices out of five 5 office locations:Stamford Greenwich New Canaan Norwalk and Wilton. Initially the new physician will work out of the Stamford office and after 68 months will begin rotating to one of the other office locations 12 days per week. This is a hardworking busy practice but family is important to all of them and they understand the need for a good worklife balance. The ideal candidate is either fellowship trained in obesity medicine or interested in working 12 weeks per month in hospital.
Highlights:
- Group of seven 7 endocrinologists looking for eighth 8
- Hospital call shared 1:8
- Clinically diverse practice; will see all kinds of cases
- 2 hybrid endocrinologists rotate 2 weeks through the hospital
- 2 hybrid endocrinologists cover the Medical Weight Loss Clinic
- Certified Diabetes Program in place including a nutritionist
- Schedule is M F no patients after 5pm
- Teach Residents and Med Students 1x every 3 months
- 20 patients per day
