Job Description
Responsibilities:
-
Evaluate diagnose & treat patients medical conditions
-
Initiate & interpret labs and x-ray studies including CTs & MRIs
-
Perform medical procedures
-
Complete patients charts indicating status & treatment procedures performed
-
Conducting follow-up patient care education & referrals
-
Supervise patient care & support staff to ensure operational excellence
-
Perform emergency lifesaving procedures in cases such as cardiac arrest respiratory arrest massive hemorrhage or similar emergencies
-
Collaborate with nurse practitioners giving medical oversight consultation & referrals of nurse practitioner patients
-
Be present a minimum of ten percent (10%) of nurse practitioners collaboration time
Qualifications:
-
MD or DO from an accredited educational institution
-
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Alabama
-
Demonstrated expertise in relevant medical practices & emergency situations
-
J-1 Visa accepted for employment
