As an intern in the team you will contribute to the advancement of the Sports Medicine patientspecific solution offering. You will investigate and implement novel analysis methods as well as evaluate the results.

As a valued member of our international Sports Medicine R&D team you support the advancement of imagebased enabling technologies.
Working with medical image data you will extend your proficiency in AI/ML by applying computer vision and deep learning techniques to develop innovative solutions that can be used in preoperative analysis and planning.
You will be involved in all aspects of AI/ML algorithm development including data preparation and labeling.
You will enhance your programming skills by developing software according to coding guidelines and under the guidance of experienced software developers.

Academic Pursuit: You are currently enrolled in a masters program for biomedical engineering or a related engineering degree with strong experience in machine learning. Students from computer science software engineering or a similar degree with medical imaging experience will also be considered.
Technical Drive: You are passionate about improving your technical expertise especially in areas like AI/ML and software development.
Software Savvy: Ideally you are proficient in Python development and have initial experience with deep learning and frameworks such as Tensorflow or PyTorch and/or computer vision libraries e.g. OpenCV) enabling you to work independently.
Effective Communication: Your strong spoken and written English skills empower you to confidently engage in our international environment and successfully document your work in scientific English.
